HEPA Filter Replacement
Please see Owner's Manual tab for full instructions on changing the HEPA filter.
**Important Note: Stack multiple filters for larger Honeywell models.
General:
- Replace the replacement HEPA filter every 3 to 5 years for optimum performance.
- Remember that the filter's service life is related to the volume of air that passes through the purifier and the amount of contaminants in the air. If your indoor air has unusually high levels of airborne particulates or contaminants, the filter's service life may be shortened.
- Regular maintenance helps to prolong the life of the HEPA filter. Keep the area surrounding the air purifier clean, it is recommended that the pre-filter be changed every 3 months.
- Replace the HEPA filter if you notice a significant drop in air flow or if the filter media is excessively darkened.
NOTE: Do NOT immerse the HEPA filter in water – it is NOT washable.
