This Active HEPA Filter captures an amazing 99.99% of particles down to 0.3 microns, including dust mites, pollen and other allergens and contaminants. Also contains an odor-removing activated charcoal filter.

Miele vacuum models optionally equipped with this Active HEPA Filter are far better for allergy and asthma sufferers than the Air Clean and Super Air Clean Filters that come standard with some models. While the Air Clean filters remove a respectable 99.95% of particles to 0.5 microns, the HEPA's increased ability to capture smaller particles with higher efficiency is recommended where removal of allergens is a priority.

Optionally choose a
Miele Active AirClean filter (AAC 30) if you don’t need the allergen-filtering level of a HEPA, but prefer a filter effective at absorbing and neutralizing very strong odors (like pet odors), and removing 95.5% of particulates as small as 0.3 microns.
