The Austin Air HealthMate Plus (HM450) achieves ozone-free air filtration to reduce the level of particles (dust and allergens) and chemicals in the air, and also removes harmful gases and odors to give you clean air and allergy symptom relief. The Austin Air HealthMate Plus machine not only removes gases, vapors and fumes, but also removes more reactive volatile organic chemicals (VOCs) like ammonia and formaldehyde.
