Ecology Works^® DustMite and Flea Control goes right to the allergen source to eliminate dust mites in carpeting. Ecology Works uses boron, a natural element, to create a patented product that coats the food source of dust mites and fleas to starve them out. Both die without food and are eliminated. University tests prove how effective DustMite and Flea Control is as dust mite populations are extremely low by week 2 after application and are almost non-existent by week 8.

DustMite and Flea Control mixes easily in water and can be applied using a spray bottle for small areas and a pump sprayer or carpet steamer for big carpeted areas. Studies at the University of California showed that DustMite and Flea Control has very low toxicity, and the California EPA determined that the risk to humans is insignificant. Clear and odorless, this product will not stain lightly colored fabrics. Large 2-lb bag treats 800 square feet as a spray or 400 square feet in a steam cleaning machine. 8-oz bag is no longer available and has been replaced with convenient, pre-mixed spray. Apply every 4 months for the first 2 treatments and twice annually thereafter.
