Replacement UV Bulb for Vicks or Slant Fin Humidifiers

The replacement Vicks or Slant Fin UV bulb is an ultraviolet light that sanitizes water as it passes from the humidifier’s cold water reservoir to its hot water reservoir. The ultraviolet light kills germs, molds, bacteria and any DNA-based microorganisms that may be present in the water. For use in all Slant Fin or Vicks Germ Free Humidifiers, including our new Vicks Germ Free Warm Mist Humidifier or the Slant Fin Warm Mist Humidifier previously offered by Allergy Control Products. To keep your humidifier operating at maximum efficiency, replace the UV bulb after 2,000 hours of use (or approximately once every year). The “Replace UV Bulb” indicator lamp on your humidifier will alert you when it’s time to change the bulb.
