Blueair’s Smokestop Filter is ideal in environments where the removal of heavier odors, fumes, smoke, and other gaseous pollutants is of paramount importance. Blueair 200 and Blueair 300 series air purifiers come with the choice of either HEPASilent™ Particle filtration, which removes 99.97% of particles to 0.1 micron, and some gases and odors, or Smokestop filtration, which does exactly the same job as the Particle Filter, but has more gas and odor absorption capability.
Blueair introduced this Smokestop™ Filter to offer the same specialized filter performance previously offered through their larger Smokestop air purifiers. If you have a Blueair 200 or 300 series air purifier, you can upgrade your filtration ability to the Smokestop level by selecting this filter as a replacement. The Smokestop filter is highly recommended when you want to remove tobacco smoke, or in environments where chemical fumes and gases are present, or when strong odors and fumes aggravate those with asthma, allergies or chemical sensitivities.
