The HealthMate HEPA Filter is designed to last up to 5 years under normal household use. Filter replacement may need to be more frequent depending on heavy particles and odors in your home. This replacement includes the Permafilt pre-filter, which can be seen through the grill in the air purifier. Therefore, filter replacement should correspond to the color of your HealthMate.
