The HealthMate Junior (HM200) Air Purifier performs 4 stages of progressive filtration, all of which come provided in this HEPA Filter replacement:
- Stage 1 - Large Particle Pre-Filter Removes particles easily seen by the eye (dust, hair and pet dander)
- Stage 2 - Medium Particle Pre-Filter Removes small to medium size particles (spores and pollen)
- Stage 3 - 6.5 lbs of Activated Carbon and Zeolite Removes chemicals, gases and odors
- Stage 4 - 30 sq ft of Certified HEPA Removes 99.97% of all particles larger than 0.3 microns (allergen particles, bacteria, viruses)

This HealthMate Junior HEPA Filter is designed to last up to 5 years under normal household use. More frequent filter replacement may be required if you have heavy particles or odors in your home.
This HEPA filter replacement additionally includes what Austin calls its Permafilt pre-filter, which you can see through the grill in the air purifier. Therefore, filter replacement should correspond to the color of your HealthMate Junior. Select the White HEPA filter replacement for White or Sandstone models, and the Black HEPA filter for Black models.
