The Permafilt Pre-filter is designed to last for years since it can be washed or vacuumed when dirty. Help keep it clean by simply vacuuming the outside grill of the Austin Air purifier to reduce surface build-up and extend the life of the pre-filter. The pre-filter can last years with regular cleaning, although replacing your pre-filter annually is an option for the cleanest air.
