The Vicks V790 Germ-Free Humidifier includes a patented disinfecting UV light chamber and a secondary boiling action in the hot water reservoir to kill up to 99.999% of germs in the water. Mold, bacteria and other microorganisms are removed by the humidifier's germicidal process. The result is a purer sanitized warm mist that you can enjoy without concern that germs are being circulated into the air.
For a therapeutic mist, use the top-mounted medicine cup along with separately purchased Vicks VapoSteam or Kaz Inhalant. Other features include tank refill indicator, adjustable humidity control, and UV bulb replacement indicator light.
