The Honeywell HRF-B2 Premium Odor Reducing Pre-Filter helps to capture larger particles and it reduces odors and certain harmful gases. The pre-filter protects the life of your HEPA filter as it traps larger particles such as dust, lint, fibers and pet fur. The carbon and zeolite blend in the pre-filter deodorizes the air by reducing odors and captures harmful gases such as ammonia and other VOCs (volatile organic compounds). The pre-filter and the HEPA filter will work in tandem to keep air fresh and clean for a healthier home. To maintain freshness, replace the pre-filter approximately every 3 months depending on your home’s environment. The electronic filter monitor light on your Honeywell tower air purifier will go on to indicate when the filter should be replaced.
