Designed specially for people with multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS) in mind, the IQAir GC MultiGas Air Purifier's strength lies in its wide spectrum gas, odor and smoke control. Just like a professional gas mask, the GC MultiGas maximizes molecular filtration of gaseous chemicals and odors with its advanced filter cartridge design - including pet, cooking, paint and other household odors, VOCs, formaldehyde, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, ammonia, ammonia compounds, and other chemical contaminants, plus tobacco smoke and wild fire smoke. The GC MultiGas also offers excellent particle protection with its high efficiency GC HEPA Pre-Filter, which removes airborne allergen particles, mold spores, viruses and bacteria, with certified efficiency of 99% to 0.3 microns.

The GC MultiGas will cover an area of 1000 sq ft, and provides certified air delivery of between 35 and 260 cfm (cubic feet per minute) depending on fan setting. The purifier's housing material is made of a non-offgasing, impact-resistant, UV-stabilized ABS, and any glue used is a special Food-Grade glue. Control panel features 4-key touch pad with 32-character LCD in English (default), French, German or Spanish.

Each IQAir purifier is quality tested at the factory and issued a Certificate of Performance that accompanies the product. Advanced controls include monitor to track remaining filter life based on actual usage, replacement indicator light, 6 fan speed settings, and programmable timer. Remote control and set of casters included.

Recommended over the HealthPro Plus where gas and odor removal is a priority.

Filter replacement:

• Pre-Filter (GC HEPA Pre-Filter): every 12 months
• Gas & Odor filter (GC Filter Cartridge - 4 cartridge set): every 2-3 years
• Post-Filter (GC Post-Filter Sleeve Set): every 2-3 years

Frequency of filter replacement depends on use. Heavier use requires more frequent filter changes.
