In addition to providing gas, odor and smoke control, the GC MultiGas also offers excellent protection against particles with its high efficiency HEPA Pre-Filter. This filter removes allergens, mold spores, viruses, bacteria, smoke and other airborne particles with certified efficiency of 99% down to 0.3 microns. The HEPA Pre-Filter is also certified to remove particles as small as 0.003 micron with 95% efficiency.

The HEPA Pre-Filter also helps to extend the life of the GC MultiGas odor and gas-control filter cartridges by preventing the cartridges from getting clogged with particulates.
The HEPA Pre-Filter should be replaced every 6-18 months, depending on use.
