Blueair’s Smokestop Filters are a must have when removal of heavier fumes, odors, tobacco smoke and other gaseous pollutants is a priority. Blueair's 400 and 500-600 Series air purifiers (including the
Blueair 403, 503 and 603 purifiers) can be purchased with either HEPASilent™ Particle filtration (which removes 99.97% of particles to 0.1 micron, plus lighter gases and odors), or Smokestop filtration (which does the same great job as the
HEPASilent™ Particle Filter, but also removes heavier gases, odors and VOCs).
A Smokestop filter is highly recommended when you want to rid your environment of tobacco smoke, where chemical fumes and gases are present, or when strong odors and fumes aggravate those with allergies, asthma or chemical sensitivities. You can always upgrade your filtration level to the Smokestop at any time by selecting this filter as a replacement for the larger purifier models.
Available in a 1-pack (for Blueair 400 Series models) and 3-pack (for Blueair 500-600 Series models).

This optional Blueair Smokestop™ Filter for the 400, 500 and 600 Series models (or the
optional Blueair Smokestop™ Filter for the 200-300 models) comes with more carbon to soak up far greater amounts of odors, smoke and fumes than the HEPASilent Particle Filter.
Replace the HEPA Smokestop Filter every 6 months.
Filter changes are easy. Just open the lid, lift out the old filter(s) and drop in the new. No screws, hooks or tools required. Filter changes take less than a minute.
Note: Replacing your HEPA filter (including Smokestop filters) every 6 months keeps your Blueair purifier performing at its peak.
