The digital display system, remote control and easy-to-change filters make the 250E very easy to use. Simply press the control panel’s touch keys to turn the unit on/off, set air purification speed, set shutdown time, or switch the ion function on/off. Choose from one of three set speeds (high, medium or low), or alternatively choose “Automatic” mode and the Blueair 250E will adjust speed automatically to the particle and odor level in the air. The timer function can be programmed to turn the unit off in 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours, or use the remote control to increase or decrease the shutdown time in 30-minute increments. The filter indicator light tells you when to change the filter change.
The Blueair 250E’s Energy Star® rating means it is very energy efficient, and in fact uses no more electricity than a 50-watt lightbulb (at the highest setting), which helps save on energy bills and the environment.
