Made from genuine Whirlpool® True HEPA material, the True HEPA Filter's rigid plastic frame and large pressure seal help to ensure that all air siphoned through the purifier passes through the filter and comes out fresh and clean on the other side. The Carbon Pre-Filter is made from highly absorbent activated carbon and helps to reduce odors, trap larger particles, and pre-clean the air before reaching the primary HEPA filter, helping to prolong the life of the HEPA filter.
