The Winix Washable HEPA Filter 21WH is a True-HEPA Filter. This filters can capture allergens within the air. For optimal performance, it is recommended to replace the filter every 12 months they should be washed up to 3 times a year. The HEPA filtration, captures up to 99.97% of particles, as small as 0.3 microns.
